O TRIO – Gabriel Schwartz
Gabriel Schwartz – flute, sax, percussion, drums, and voice
Born in Curitiba, musician, multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer and arranger.
Graduated in transverse flute from the School of Fine Arts and having also studied at the Conservatory of Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) in his native town, he dedicates himself to MPB in its many diverse forms.
He has performed for over 20 years with the Wind Instruments Orchestra in Curitiba and with Trio Quintina.
In addition to having founded and participated in groups specializing in instrumental music such as “Variedades Contemporâneas” and the “Black Shoes Project”.
He is currently developing a Solo project while living in Canada, where he completed his Masters in Composition at the University of Montreal under the supervision of Ana Sokolović.
